Equipment
We have teamed up with our kind sponsor 'Massimo' with the use of their Rad-67 testing device to provide you your non-invasive test and SpHb result. This device uses non-invasive pulsatile Hb measurment, compensating for motion and light to allow our volunteers to provide you with the most accurate result.
Training
All volunteers at the pop-up stations are fully trained in using the equipment and have refershers regularly. This ensures that the result you get are as accurate as we can get them, based on both the equipment used and the pool of very kind volunteers across the UK.
Results
The results of the non-invasive test will be provided to you in either written, verbal or printed format with information on how the result was obtained. This can then be taken to your GP or other community medical team, who can use this result to guide how best to plan any further testing and treatment, as indicated.
If the result falls outside the normal range this will be highlighted to you and you will be advised that you should follow this up with a visit to a medical professional. This could be either your general practitioner (GP) or other community/hospital medical team that you may already have ongoing contact with for existing health related issues.
Questions or queries
If you have any questions or queries relating to the test, process and or result then please reach out via our contact form on the contact page. One of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
